About Antioch, TN

Antioch is a neighborhood of Nashville about 12 miles southeast of downtown. It began with a church organized near Mill Creek in 1810, and from 1820 the village took the name of the "Church at Antioch." Mill Creek Valley Pike, today's Antioch Pike, opened in 1846, followed by a railroad that carried workers to the city.

From the start, Antioch was a commuter town, with workers traveling to and from downtown Nashville each day. That pattern holds today, and long daily commutes add miles quickly. Frequent oil changes, tire rotations and brake checks keep a commuter's vehicle dependable.
